As an organisation WISP aims to inspire, support and promote women in STEM in our local area – and the Young Women into STEM Careers Fair is a key way that we achieve all three of these aims. It looks to encourage young people into science, technology, engineering and maths by showcasing the fabulous opportunities available in our local area. During the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a range of STEM related organisations. They will also have the opportunity to attend a series of short talks and workshops.
It’s fantastic to have support from local companies and organisations that has allowed us to put on this event annually since 2016, and illustrates how supportive the Plymouth community is when it comes to promoting STEM careers to young women.
