#GIRLCODE Bring a Grown Up is a special event put together especially for you! Many of the WISP members we speak to tell us how they would like to learn more about how to code, and fancy a go at #Girlcode themselves. We want you to come along and learn with and from your kids and enjoy the fun that can be had learning to code.
Each booking is for 1 adult and 1 child aged 8-14 only and the sessions are free. Run by tech industry professionals, the easy and interactive session will provide hands-on experience of programming using the BBC micro:bit.
“micro:bit is a tiny programmable computer, designed to make learning and teaching easy and fun!” https://microbit.org/
All equipment will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.
#GIRLCODE aims to encourage girls in the Plymouth area to consider careers in technology and software development.
Places are limited.
#GIRLCODE is supported by Elixel, Babble, Vualto, and Women in STEM Plymouth.
